I applied the viynl directly over the trim and then cut it, it's pretty hard to take off the chrome trim without bending it in some way

it should hold for up to 5 or 6 years. rain and high speeds is no problem. I don't know abut automatic carwashes though, I always handwash my car and so far it hasn't had any problems

and for everyone else that asked for a diy, I'm working really hard trying to get it in. this time of the year is really busy for me. Will let you guys know asap!

the spoiler is the mtech style spoiler, I got it from jbspeed.

I did the same using shadowline. It was took me a while to install it because I had to get air bubbles out.
