330 getting slower???
Hey guys,
Ive had my 330 since last September and at first I was really impressed by its speed and acceleration. Now recently Ive been feeling almost bored..... And this has left me wondering has the car gotten slower or am I just really used to it now???? Any of you guys have similar experiences? |

The car isn't getting any slower- you're just getting used to it! Try not driving the car for a couple of days & use another (wife's, friend's, whoever's). Get back into yours. You'll get the old feeling back straight away! I'm still not 'bored' of mine though just yet. |

I found the same with my WRX. The remedy is to drive something else for a while and come back to it. It will feel quick as the day you bought it.

So I've just discovered anothwer benefit of the Steptronic Tranny. If D mode feels a little slow, then changing to DS mode will certainly fix that feeling.
No problems with my car feeling slow. Sometimes some of us may drive in a gentle, relaxed manner and thus ease off the pedal as we reach the desired speed. This may also be a phenomenon you may be experiencing. You have a wonderful car. All the best.

My 330 actually seems to be getting faster. That may be a function of my becoming more comfortable driving it and consequently I am driving more aggressively (faster). What a wonderful car to drive!

Let's face it, the e90 is a blast to drive because of the overall package not its brute acceleration. It needs to be enjoyed in the twisty's to truly be appreciated.
I had the opportunity to drive an e60 M5 the other day ... now that's the complete package ... albeit at over 2x the cost of a loaded 330i.
