Ahh Matt, yes, delightful chap, middle name was 'Cash'
I believe he was last seen arguing with a chap in a MSport E91,something about sat navs, the utterly ludicrous weight of a 19" 225 wheel and the absurdity/utter folly of any BMW with less than six cylinders. We did have some thoroughly entertaining threads though, all hail Matt This will bring him out of the closet Last edited by Hotcoupe; 06-13-2012 at 03:13 PM.. |

Back on topic. I bought some Paving plus (??) stuff from B&q (comes in a yellow tub and made by Sika). More or less done the job but the problem I have is moss that keeps growing on the joints. So everytime I jetwash, I end up taking some of the stuff off/out. Any suggestions?

Not sure if this helps but my dad has a block paved driveway and he's kept it moss and weed free for years by brushing rock salt over it a couple of times a year. I assume i dissolves when it rains and stops stuff growing.

If you get it moss free you can give it a wash over with a 1/5 PVA to water mix. Worked on my path for keeping the slimy green stuff off.
Need to repoint my patio as well but can't be arsed weeding it first. |

Wouldn't kiln dried sand be a better bet?

Don't bother with Geofix, commonly known in the trade as "Geoshyte"
3 or 4 to 1 sharp sand to cem is the solution, |
