Thanks for taking the time to put together this great review.
My lux do the fading off thing when I have the lights on auto, lock the car and walk away. Now if the car is running and I turn them off, they turn off immediately.

along with a review too Quote:
yes as DaBrass said, installation instructions should be the same as long as you have the same LCI Xenon headlights as mine.

I just installed these last night and they look awesome. However they don't seem to be fading for me, they just pop on when I hit the unlock button on my remote. I know they should because the stock halogens did fade in and out before I swapped them to the DTEC's. I messaged E92-lighting and apparently I'm the only one with the issue. He recommended to try different modes. What setting do you have your lights on when you unlock?

Watt per watt, LEDs generate more heat than incandescent halogen bulbs. At a LED that's 30-40watts, you're looking to burn down your car. Even if it's not a single LED, say 5wx6 LEDs, or 5wx8 LEDs, it still producing an enormous amount of heat that you simply can't dissipate effectively with these headlight design. You'll basically either have dead LEDs (heat kills) or your car combust in flames. |

Gaifaun...I really like the pics...I just purchased a 2009 AW and wanted to confirm a few of the mods that you did. Those are glossy or matte black front grille? Also what have you done to the front bumper? lastly, you did glossy black vinyl on the roof?
Thanks Man |

Daylight doesn't seem to be so great. It was overcast when I took the picture. Also seems a bit blue during the day. Nighttime looks great though.
I also had a chance to check out the dimming feature. Seems like it's very quick compared to the slow fade in/out from stock bulbs. |
