F31 330d XDrive
More appropriate in the F30/31 Forum I know but worth a mention here for those who aren't watching that forum.
BMW have released several new versions of F30/31 including the Xdrive models. The 330d Xdrive is 0-60 in 5.4 secs with very decent economy, gotta be a winner. 335i F31 also announced, 0-60 in 5.2 secs but 15mpg average less than the 330d. Totally different car I know. |

This was posted by someone in the F30 forum:
https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/press...tem=node__2224 No sign of a 335d. Maybe there wont be one is the 330d is quite quick (well....headline 0-62 figures anyway). |

Also the F30 330d xdrive saloon is 0-62 in 5.3 (I guess people may be slightly more interested in this one). |

Have you tried the new 8 speed auto ???............. its a revelation. 335/340d most dealers seem to reckon won't show up unti the new 4 Series Coupe is launched, thats what happened with the 335d in the E90 which appeared after the E92 launch. Thats likely to be a good bit down the line and it needs to show a decent performance increase over the current 330d which is already a decently swift motor. |

IF the difference between the 330d and 335i is so small, the 335d will surely be quicker than the 335i?
Loving the F31 330d xDrive Hopefully in a few years time I can get one second hand |

Love it. I just couldn't wait for this and ended up with my 335d, but would have much preferred an F31 X-Drive. Will be grabbing a test drive when they get to my dealer, and going over some numbers.
Saying that, I think I would prefer it in the 5-series now. The 3 is a little small. |

They are only that quick because the 4wd. Don't expect them to be massively rapid rolling.

The 330d seems to have replaced the 335d i reckon. Its using the latest N57 Twin turbo unit. If anything i would say a 340d M or something along those lines.

335d is to be phased out at the end of the e92 production , already phased out in the states .. being replaced by 335i + electric motor which is supposed to give you the same torque and better mpg than a 35d .. i'm a bit hmmm about that

Still a single turbo. The "Twin Power Turbo" doesn't mean twin turbo. I believe it refers to the twin scrolls in the turbo.

Indeed, stand corrected there. Sure I was reading some tech spec that claimed Twin turbo... power was higher too 298bhp rings a bell...whereas its actually 258bhp. Looks to be fed by 2 manifolds... shall look into this!
