JB+ and COBB's Accessport V3
Need some advise guys.
i have 2010 335i x drive automatic. the car is stock. i have ordered JB+ and after i was reading about COBB's Accessport V3, i have ordered that also. soo my questions is which one should i install?? and can both be installed ? if both are installed do i get more power, or is one going to conflict with the other? my first time as bmw owner and my first time on this forum.. |

The Cobb will be better than the JB+ hands down. The Cobb is comparable to the JB4.

Or just sell the JB+ and get Wedge's custom map or pro tune for the Cobb.

i canot get jb4 because i leave in nova scotia canada, halifax. there is no one that has any idea how to install the jb4 , well no one that i can trust that is. i know that the video shows how it is done, but there is no one here that has done this before, unless i go west towards montreal or toronto. i find the car fast now!! which is stock, but i would like to make it little more horse and torque with out installing new parts. does that make SENSE? or do i sound like an idiot? lol thanks guys

Run the Cobb and sell the JB+. Not sure why everyone is boasting about you selling both and getting a JB4. The Cobb is more then capable of handling an otherwise stock vehicle or a full bolt on vehicle.
You should not run both. There is no magical way to get more power. Air Fuel Spark are the only ways to make power. You can only run so much boost and so much ignition timing. |

Jeff is right... Pay attention Mike. LOL
I personally ran both the PROcede and the JB4 stacked. COBB is by far the best tuning platform hands down. In the hands of a good tuner, you can make the same if not more power flashed. I'm running less timing on my car today and making more power than I did when I was stacked. I can flash my car in 1 min to change between pump or E85. Gauge hijacking... Yeah, not so cool anymore. I can display all of that on my AP and more. Don't get me started on data logs. Push of a button. I can also log all the channels I need to actually tune my car. 60' foot and 1/4 mile times. Yeah, COBB.. |

We are only focusing on E/Race maps and will be tuning for max performance.
Please don't confuse Max Performance with high timing, our E/Race maps are NOT High Timing maps. Our MAX timing will be 13.5 deg for ALL maps. We are seeing over 500 wtq on stock turbos at 12.8 deg of timing with E50. Please stay tuned as more information will follow. |

We've use the AP to tune our shop cars and there is nothing comparable. Just keep the AP and DO NOT STACK the JB+. It is a TMAP clamp and the AP will be seeing a biased signal and an overboost condition will result with the DME being blind to it.

Yes remove it every time. It only takes 10 minutes at the most. Buy a battery charger too if you want to be safe.

Can you adjust wastegates with your OFT? Sorry, I couldn't resist.
This is flash tuning. If anything the WG adjustments on the JB4 are there to fix the issues with the JB4 in the first place. So before someone steps in an tries to say BS, I have personally ran the JB4 on turbos that were less than a year old without any rattle and as soon as I put the JB4 on they rattled, even adjusting them to remove the rattle didn't help much or made them spool really slow. Is the JB4 a bad product, NO... It has it's place in our little world along with the PROcede and the OFT. |
