iDrive repair -anyone used these people?
mines been broken for a while now and just got around to removing it,
has anyone used these ppl to repair? http://www.sinspeed.co.uk/bmw-idrive...ystem-repairs/ cost is quoted at £150 -£250 plus VAT plus a lifetime warranty Phil

Mine does exactly that too, used to come to life once every few days but since Xmas has died a total death.

dJust had a call from Sinspeed to say my CCC iDrive unit is indeed broken beyond repair, something about the main BGC board being fried after a jump start - which does tie in with when I was jump started by the RAC and it went soon after.
So I either need to find a new CCC unit and code it to my car, no alot out there on Ebay from what I can see or I bite the bullet and go for a CIC upgrade.
