Why not bump it? You can just as easily skip over it.....

i purchased my Procede V1.45 and since i've had it i don't recall haveing issue with it. I only had 1 limp mode but went away as soon as i took it down a bit. I was pushing the car HARD in altitute against a RS4 (didn't know it was RS thought it was a R)... Anyway haven't had one issue and look foward to getting V2 soon!

I don't a 335 yet, but I read these forums and quite a few other BMW a lot, and the Proceed chip is prob. the most popular after CSL wheels. Of course a couple of people are going to have problems. Look at people trying to install clears/blackline on other boards, its nothing hard, some people manage to mess up, and that is ok, because a forum is meant for people to help other people.

Not quite. It's more like upping the hertz and voltage to squeeze additional power out of your CPU and if you fry your chip then you are SOL. At least if Vista dumps you can call tech support. That's ignoring the fact Vista is a step down from XP for performance.

I am new here but from what I have seen it seems to be faulty installs and improper use are causing more problems than the product itself. Maybe instead of complaining about the product you can work with Shiv to get things resolved...bitching can only get you so far.
For a vendor he seems to be dedicated and tries to answer questions as they come, I personally couldn't imagine doing what he does. You can only please so many people, some just like to be annoying and would rather talk shit then work things out. I for one am looking forward to buying my Procede when my baby comes in next month. |
