New Owner - 13' BSM Coral Red E92 6MT
Hello all,
Been lurking here for a while and I just finally picked up my E92 last week. After a long search I finally found a CPO 13' E92 in RI. 40k miles, m-sport, and the coral red interior I wanted so bad. I have wanted a 335i ever since high school when my Dad had one. At the time I had a G35 coupe and that 335i blew the doors off of it After my G35 I had a 2011 Genesis Coupe R-spec with FBO. I couldn't be happier with the 335i. So much torque that I am not used to. The quality of the interior compared to my genesis coupe is night and day. The sport seats are so comfortable, the 6MT shifts so smooth. HK sound is great. I could go on and on. Anyways, on to the pics These are the pictures I drooled over from the dealership while I was waiting for the delivery. First Day My Genesis Last edited by The Chaddening; 02-08-2016 at 12:27 PM.. |

Thanks guys, it was a lucky find. I find myself looking for any excuse to drive. Burned through a tank of gas in 2 days lol. I was reading on here for weeks before I owned the car and I was planning on getting the PPK with my tax return. I really don't even feel like I need it right now. The car is so much faster than I thought it would be stock. The only time I can really open it up(trying to stay out of trouble) is merging onto the interstate and you run out of road fast. Down the line maybe the PPK and the BMW PE because I want to keep the CPO. Once warranty is up, JB4 and the works.

Congrats on the new E92! I like the options, and M Sport is a great trim!
Any other plans besides JB4?

I appreciate it guys! I love the interior. The quality is so much better than my genesis its crazy. Well originally I was going to stick with the PPK and BMW PE but after I started reading more about the JB4 it seemed painful to spend 700 for so little power. I called up my service advisor here in Nashville and asked him "If I have aftermarket software will you guys void my warranty and if I take it off before I get the car serviced would you be able to tell?". He said they probably wouldn't be able to tell and the only issue I would run into was if I blew the turbo then they could read the excess boost and they wouldn't cover the turbo. But he said that they wouldn't void the warranty just wouldn't cover the turbo. So im definitely going to get the JB4. I would still like to get the PE, even though its only an axle back I think it sounds best.

What about cosmetic mods or other things that may not void your warranty? New wheels or anything like that? Don't go too crazy with all the mods at once. Get to know your car, but I'm just curious.
I actually like the 193 wheels, but they got boring after a while.

Well the OEM gloss black kidneys are on my list for one of my first mods. I like the look of the m-sport bumpers/sides, maybe a front lip down the line. The ride height/feel of the m-sport suspension doesn't bother me right now, coming from a car that was slammed it's nice to have stock ride height(and my girlfriend actually rides in my car). The 193's are not bad, I have always loved the BBS LM's but I wouldn't buy aftermarket wheels without upgrading the suspension first. I saw the Cyba air scoops that come in red... I know they don't do anything for performance but do you think they would be worth it for a subtle aesthetic grill upgrade?

The scoops don't really do much unless you're > 120 mph so doesn't seem worth it even if they aren't expensive. Go for front lip too. Much higher class look!
