Popping/ticking noise when applying brakes
Recently I've noticed a popping/ticking noise from the front left when I apply the brakes. It doesn't happen every time but it seems to do it more often when lightly applying the brakes and slowly coming to a stop.
All control arms are original with about 80k miles and front brakes were done in the spring. I've visually inspected the bushing on the tension arm and it's not leaking or damaged. |

Do you have any vibration coming to the steering wheel?
It could be your wheel bearing. I experienced something similar, changed the bearing, and it fixed the issue.

The sound is very intermittent. It will make the poppping sound but won't do it again the next few times I brake. Last edited by siphor1989; 11-30-2017 at 11:33 AM.. |
