10-50w Penrite

I understand it's all been done. iv been following spec LL-01
130k km on a 323i 2007 E91 2.5

should I be using the 10-50 or should I go back to the 5-30w

they are both LL-01 approved.

what are your thoughts guys.

I am finding it hard to come to a conclusion on this.

cheers
Mick

10W-50 is not a BMW approved oil grade, therefore it is not LL-01.
Any product advertising that is misleading. Most likely it is an Australian oil as there is no labeling enforcement.

You have confused 'Specification' with 'Approval'.
It is NOT a BMW Approved oil grade.
