front m3 wishbones bushings - poly or original?
hello I drive e91 325i and I have been driving control arms with poly bushings a while (Strongflex).
Now my question is if I should run the original new wishbones bushings or replace it with another set of polys. I ask because I've seen new kits that include original bushings of wishbones and everything else poly bushings. I kind of got used to the sound of control arms. Relatively high NVH. |

Lots of variables here. Are your ball joints still quiet and tight? Are the strongflex bushings worn out? If the arms/ball joints are still good no need to replace them.
But IMO I would just get a new set of M3 arms or a monoball kit. M3 ones don't have much NVH increase at all and I've heard monoballs are only a step higher. They should be essentially maintenance free too (the monoball) whereas poly bushings are very prone to wear in joints that twist a lot like these. |

m3 arms with monoball upgrade for starters.
If you want a big improvement I would look at your rear subframe bushings and diff. Granted on an N52 they are probably not as big an upgrade as on a modified n54.
