PR Test n Tune on Fri May 8
Weather looks to be holding up.. anyone headed up? I'm gona try to shoot over after work to get 1 or 2 runs in with the new DPs.
Anyone wanna hang? The next TnT is May 15th but I'm going to Vancouver that day. |

how do you like new dps? what's the total bills after everything is said and done for our reference in future? sound? smell? difference?

Racing starts at 5pm.. I'll probably get there just at that time.

He had to drop the subframe to get the stock ones out which is what took so long. You don't have to do for non-XI cars so 4hours should be max for a RWD cars. Talk to Noah since he was the guy who installed mine. I think I'm going to head to CarbConn this Saturday anyway to get a DP baseline dyno done and see if the IC comes in next week before the dyno Eric scheduled on the 16th that way I can tell how much more whp I got out just this mod. |

Ran a 12.6 @110 for the first run but it's crowded as hell right now and lots of break downs so there may be one more run tonight - hopefully 2 more.
Track prep is pretty good so far.. |

Last run was 12.52 @ 111mph but I stepped down a map to Map8. Peak boost was 16.5 and ran pretty good. The new Map 9 on Jb3 8D4 is still too strong even with DPs. Gonna wait for the intercooler next week and see what happens.
PR closed around 1030pm - things picked up after 7pm and there were no more breakdowns. Overall not bad with 4 runs in the night. There was a brand new Camaro RS that ran low 14s.. still had the dealer tags. Another brand new Hyundai Genesis Coupe but I didn't get to see what he ran. My last run I toasted a C5 Z06. I thought he would blast me but the driver was new to the track. Ran against a CLK55 AMG and she posted a 13.1s (the Z06' guy wife), beat her too. Another GT500 broke his rear end off the launch - first run of the day too.. sad to see it towed off the track. Overall was really fun.. I'll see if I can make one more strip run before scooting outa town. |

Ha ha....I've been reading without my glasses.....just put them on and saw the Helix in your sig. Sorry. I'm freaking blind without my glasses.
