Rims chipped, GTA best place for power coating/ paint?
Finally, I got my new wheels but one of them was chipped badly. (the rear one)
So should I paint or power coating? Which place is good to go? Its the 260M, I am afraid that I only have 2 choices. 1. Paint the front and rear together so that it wont look so different in case the paint color was different after repainted. 2. Paint all wheels so you dont have to worry about anything. Matte black? I dont want sharp color like gold or bronze.... Any suggestion guys? Your input will be greatly appreciated!! |

Im picking up my set of wheels from a local powdercoater in Mississauga near the airport. Should be done tomorrow or Thursday. Will let you know how it goes. Cheap too. Cost me 260 for the set cash no tax.

No this does not include Mounting/Dismounting.
You have to bring the rims to them by them selves.

Kriston, make sure the cetercaps will still fit after you powdercoated them.

Thanks for all the input.
Just get a quote from the dealership, estimate 100 a piece for the factory matched paint. I think I will bring it back to them since they told me they have some guy do it on site and it takes couple days to finish. Also I can blame the dealership if something went wrong. Oh my 260M!!! I dont think black color is not good cuz it absorbs too much heat, just my 2 cents! |
