My turn to get rear ended...
What a way to start a monday eh
I was coming off the ramp onto RT 50 (DC bound) and I stopped because this idiot wanted to merge from the left lane of the ramp to go into that foreign affairs training center they have there and this blonde b*tch in a black 2006-2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee-base model (license plate 3034AX) was having a blonde moment and rear ended me (well more like a hard nudge). The first thing I saw in my rear view mirror was her shocked face. So I flashed my hazards and pull over a few feet out of traffic's way and what do you think this b*tch does....yep she hightailed it, the moment I got out of the car I jumped in and tried to track her down but traffic kept me back until she disappeared off ramp towards Rosslyn. Was so pissed! Damage? Nothing that would buff out. There were some noticeable dents inlaid into the bumper with a number of scrapes. Not too bad to be honest, but heck Ralfie was in perfect shape with nary a scratch on him. I'll try to get some pics later. Just got off the phone with my insurance company, they said they'd do a tag trace to track this person down. If that fails, it looks like $250 out of pocket On the upside, what was the part number for that M-tech rear again (with PDC)

Did you file a hit and run with the cops? Well at least you got her plate number it will all work out in the long run.

Hmmm...the "AX" plates are Alexandria City plates, right? Not gov't plates but the special Alexandria ones...shouldn't be too hard for her vehicle to be found
Anyway, sorry to hear about it...

Wow! I am so sorry to hear that Donny! I hate people who do that kinda shit, but even before you gave the description i knew it was going to be a blond woman in an SUV that hit you! I hope things work out and the b#tch gets what she deserves!!

Correct, I got AJ's 197s...they look CSL-ish in person (well a mix between CSL and BBS CH). That's what Ase was referring to...

Thanks Frank...
I'm thinking of doing a police report anyways, just to be a pain I'm still pissed off about it.

I think my pics might cheer you up...maybe not, but i'll post mine. I don't think i ever posted these pics before. I had my turn to get rear ended when I had 1300 miles on the odometer! I was hit by a fairly attractive woman in an e36. I had to get an all new bumper, this was way before I knew about e90post or m tech bumpers. For the amount of damage her 3 had, I feel my e90 "took it in the rear" very well! Sorry again bud and hope your day gets better! |
