You didn't get the 3M transparent bra / front protection? A must have in Alberta!

The bra is a must. I have three good chips in the windshield, a bunch of chips in the paint, and a broken foglight. 21,000 km in 7 months will do that though I guess.
The car itself is great. Love it! I think that we are going to need another meet here later in April or in May sometime.

Gotta get the bra, I got Calg BMW to try a new application method around the roundel, we'll see how it looks.
Wait till the Dinan stg 2 comes out, we can all drive around like we stole our cars |

While looking at it I noticed that someone scuffed the right corner of my front bumper. Luckily it was just dirty and it came off. Another bonus of the bra!

I asked them to pull off the roundel and run the clear bra under where the roundel is a tiny bit and then put the roundel back on. We'll see how it looks. I am afraid the dirt will accumulate at the edge of the cut and it will start to peel. I'll get some pics posted next week once I get it. |

Glenn - it's going to look awesome. I understand your front aero lip is installed
If you're coming down on the 11th let me know when you arrive ... I'd like to see your car (clean) and with all the goodies installed.

ST is great place. They have done all my cars since I started buying new ones. The M3 doesn't have 3M, but it generally doesn't come out until the gravel is gone. I never thought I would have garage queen... lol

I actually got it because of the seats, the higher speed limit which in turn gives the impression of a higher resale value, and the oil cooler. If I decide to add the oil cooler later it would cost me dearly and if I changed the chip for higher top speed, also would cost $. So why not just do it now.
Also I have to admit, the mags are much better looking from the sports package than the regular ones that comes with the 335xi. |

Does anyone know a place in Calgary where I can get BMW Rims for a great price. I checked with http://www.finishlinewheels.com and the shipping will cost around $35/rim plus taxes. I'm hoping I can find someone in town that can help.

Yup. I was told that there really isn't much of a difference when you are using them for Winters. With our harsh winter, it's better to ruin replicas than the real deal. What would you suggest?

Guys, I went to tirerack and a set of 4 winters (Continentals TS790 V 205/50-17) performance tires AND rims (Rial Como 17x7.5), balance, pressure monitors, shipping, taxes, etc, for a grand total of about $1,228 USD. What do you think? Is that a good price?
I'm thinking about buying them now (while they are on special) and have them ready for next year. |
