Just as when I found my car, they changed it.

I like to see how this claim to fame E90Meet plays out, so far : DC Metro has 16 GB has 15 HK & SoCal had so many meets but none hit 15, ex. the Apple Pie meet maybe had 10 didnt touch 15, but great sound and movie clips production! ... pls pass the popcorn, seems like a E90 storm is brewing. |

The gauntlet has been thrown UK - only just got out of bed and it looks like another meet will have to be planned. A country the size of one state of the US against Good ole Sam. " We will fight them....." yada yada.
Forgot to add the link to panorama pics http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18114 We should have asked the other E90 we saw to join us!!

We should have asked him - that would have been funny!! He could have done the voiceover for the video " Here comes another 15ft of car etc etc"

I'm gonna say we had 16 cars there - even if that other E90 in the car park didn't know about it! So technically, technically, it's a draw

If we are going to get 'picky' about this, then we did actually have a 16th - a black e90 318d was there also- it was just parked in the wrong place ok!

Wow, that 318d looks just like mine, and I was concidering coming to the meet, then it could have been 17!! That must have been a 318d ES too...I could have had the cheapest car there!

We may well have been one car down on the record, but I think we win on effort hands down. I dont imagine that the average distance driven by those at the DC meet would be anywhere near 100+ miles. We had UK drivers from as far as Bristol (130 miles), Brigthon (180 miles) and Stockton-on-Tees (140 miles). I think every member but one had to drive at least 100 miles each way, so well done everyone for making the effort.

We all ended up in the wrong village with the same road name! The unexpectedly longer country drive made it even better- ever seen half a dozen e90s parking at a petrol service station to ask for directions??!!! Viv |

A possible message from the Prime Minister: Mr Tony Blair, 10 Downing Street, London, England This is just a quick note to all members of the E90POST.com forum representing the UK in our First Meet, held yesterday, Saturday April 22nd. Well done boys & girls! You have made us very proud indeed. The discussion concerning the 'biggest' meet so far is clear in my eyes. We don't need to reply to criticism from other parts of the world. Our representatives have carried out their duty & have done so in a particularly fine spirit. I shall be speaking to my American colleagues concerning the behaviour of their affiliates. The matter should hopefully be resolved soon. Until then, I'd like this opportunity to let paddymac know he has my full support in saying anything he likes, in relation to the First UK meet & anything else remotely related to the BMW e90. When you're in the thick of it, just remember- think of England! |
