Dimitri, what happened? You worked on the car for two years, you finally finished, said you would post pics and then nothing. Come on, let's see some good pics, inside and out. I want to see that alcantara interior, too. Unlike some members, I dig these conversions. M3 conversions, 1M conversions. I'm there.

Cause you guys in the Us have super cheap cars...
I could Sell my 320D E90 here in Norway, go to the us an buy a E92 M3 for more or less the same price... I ran the numbers a while back and it would probably cost 3-4 Million NOK to own and keep an M3 in Norway (including taxes and all) That would translate to +- 487K USD. Now you go figure (saw now i replied to a 2 year old post, why bump old threads and cause confusion) Last edited by Hybridz0rz; 12-10-2014 at 06:42 AM.. |

The IS doesn't have a 2jz. And a 2jz has far more potential than an N54. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Some people think we all have to be the same to be accepted, you are thinking out of the box and saving a ton in the process. I can't wait to see your finished product and I applaud you for being creative and more of a standout individual. Blessings my friend.
