This is the only dyno curve with a boost curve included. Unfortunately not a stock N52. This car has catless headers and 3IM which both should LOWER boost as they allow more air to flow thru the engine. So it looks like at 7000rpm it makes 5psi boost. Your results may vary due to your mods. The nice part is that the boost curve is very linear so predicting boost with different pulleys is easier and there is some calculations/scientific involved, not just guessing. So for this particular car N52 with ESS SC, catless headers and 3IM- 4.50" 115mm pulley makes 5psi boost at 7000rpm. It is predicted based on linear boost curve that with- 4.25" 108mm pulley will make 5.5psi at 7000rpm, +0.5 pounds of boost. 3.80" 96.5mm pulley will make 6.0psi at 7000rpm, +1.0 pounds of boost. 3.40" 86.4mm pulley will make 7.0psi at 7000rpm, +2.0 pounds of boost. |

Belt sizes/length is a little more difficult to predict but it looks like based on 60% wrap-
4.50"- 102.5" that is ESS stock/standard sizes 4.25"- 102.0" 3.80"- 101.0" or 101.5" 3.40"- 100.5" And luckily Dayco has 6 rib serpentine belts in several sizes/lengths- 102.5, 102.0, 101.5, 101.0, 100.5, and 100.0". Part number is xx61025, etc. |

I'm enjoying the power a little too much lol...
Got an audible chatter when the clutch is disengaged. : Looking into SMF as a possible replacement / upgrade. Looking into a heftier clutch as well, if any of you fine ladies/lads have any input as to what compatible brand I should be looking into ♡.

Maybe look into the MAF-less Euro IAT tune Bimmerlabs has available and build off that?

Was this in the tune, or is something else limiting this motor at high RPM? |

It seems pretty well established that the 3IM doesn't flow well past about 6500 RPM.

Seen more dramatically seen in other SC and turbo cars, hence the use of a blow off valve. Here in the BMW N52 it is so minimal and the intake valves still stay cracked open at idle vs. the throttle blade slamming completely closed in other engines. |

BMW did a great job reminding everyone how unreliable bmws can be with the n54 and s65. The m57 diesel also sucks. Looking back on things I should have never bought a single BMW. I'd have alot more $$$. Looking forward to see some smaller pulleys on the n52s. |
