If not set on M sport, it seems as if any LCI will suit you, if you’re willing to do some retrofits to a car.

A base model can easily be converted to Sports Package model, if you’re ok with the vin not listing ZSP.
The base and sport models are the same except for the seats, steering wheel, and suspension in RWD models. In XI models, it’s only the steering wheel and seats, as the suspension is the same on base and sport XI models.
The wheels differ from car to car.

At their age, the suspension probably needs to be replaced anyways, so there’s 1 mod, swap in sport shocks.
The steering wheel swap is easy.
The seat swap is easy, but depending on what color you get, it may be difficult to find the front sport seats. IE: red/brown or saddle brown would be a tough color to find front sport seats.
I’ve converted a few base models into sport packages and that’s really all there is to it and unless decoding the vin, its a sport pack.
Cold weather package can also be swapped in easily.
I'm looking for ZSP or ZMP, I don't care one way or another for the M-Tech areo parts if I'm honest though - mostly want the seats and the sports suspension (which is one of my RWD motivators). I know that it can all be swapped, but I don't really have the time or space for a projcet right now, and finding one thats just set up the way I want out of the box would be a lot nicer.

Probably is but when seller does or does not get their asking price they tend to lower the price.

Who know's maybe it will sell.

Seller is completely nuts. Got 3 pictures of the rebuild (far away, grainy). Asked for more details, and got told that he won't say anything more unless its in-person. No wonder it hasn't sold. Either something is incredibly fishy with the rebuild, or this guy just isn't serious about selling. I'd steer clear personally.

When he originally listed it, he didn't mention anything about rebuilt title and or any of the accidents/damage. Super shady - he's just trying to find someone to buy it on impulse without doing due diligence.

Orange line represents roughly where the core support sits.
Price is okayyyy, depending on how the engine bay looks..

Decent maintenance... I thought the color is pretty rare and the price is alright? I'm new here, is there a big difference in price overall for pre-LCI vs LCI? What's hurting the value on this one specifically? TIA!

I have seen this one listed on Cargurus for quite a while but it's still for sale: https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/share/370393191. I tried messaging him for more maintenance info but he wasn't the nicest guy

Pre lci, base model, automatic, 6.5 rating on the body, possibly some rust on the undercarriage.

Hmm, the miles on the lci you listed are up there too.

$8700 from copart is crazy. Place is full of shady cars, employees and ins agents.
I bet the ins agents are like this after the sale.

There were a few of us watching and bidding I suspect. I had not bid on it and when it 5k I was out, did not want to over spend on what was going to be a parts car to me. It would have just shed it's M sports items and I would sold it as a normal touring.

keeping vin around helps keep track of data base

If anyone hears of an accident-and-rust-free Deep Green xi going up for sale in any running condition, I'd love the intel. Planning an ill-advised 335xd Touring build.

EDIT: Honestly, I guess it doesn't even have to be running, but that would allow me to pull codes to check wiring is sound before purchase.

Alright guys, give me some comps here. I'm considering getting rid of my E91, but I'm not really sure how much I'd get for it.

Its a 2009 (LCI) RWD/ZSP/Xenon/Cold Weather package car, always NC owned with 131k on it. Color is black on black. It drives great, with Bilstein B6's that I put on there at 100k miles. I took the sport package springs off and put "high load" rears on and standard package fronts on, I still have the ZSP springs though sitting in a box. The roads here are delicious and twisty, but they have a bad habit of turning into gravel roads randomly, I was tired of tip-toeing along with my #lowlyfe sport package car.

Its a little rough cosmetically—the sunroof headliner is dropping, the spoiler clearcoat is failing, and the PO of the car had the front bumper resprayed and they didn't do a great job so now its peeling a bit. And since its a black car, the paint has all kinds of swirls on it, though an afternoon with a polisher could probably do wonders.

So come at me, what should I expect to get for this thing?
