About the FMIC, wanted to know what you guys think; We are looking over the option of an black intercooler system vs. the white. What do you guys think?

If the black has the same cooling efficiency as the white (chrome/metal) than go with the black one....

I dont think its a good idea. Ceramic coating is a thermal isolant, so it will do the trick on exhaust manifolds and downpipes, but on a cooler?

Ordered and paid . Looking forward to the product and a cooler running engine ( It runs already a bit cooler with the FMIC ). I currently see 230 degF ( normal driving ). I am working towards getting rid of the cylinder 5 and 6 heat issue.

I've done some searching around but does anyone have any concrete evidince with what temperature the thermostat opens?

To be honest with you I havent found this information either. I have been searching for the answer as well. From my observation, I do not think that there is just one static temp that opens the thermostat valve you will notice that on cold days you thermostat will open between 230 and 240 and on hot days the valve seems to open at around 210. This has just been my observation. I do plan on testing this theory out a some point.
