A matured Sting:
"In the circles we made with our fires | We talked of the pale afternoon | The clouds were like dark riders | Flying on the face of the moon | We spoke our fears to the captain | And asked what his son could know | For we would never have marched so far | To be food for a crow" Sting - "Something The Boy Said" (1993):

I don't know of anyone else that would have highlighted this particular song, but it's one that I like a lot. Thanks for reminding me. |

Hearing this (and seeing it) makes me think of me and my son. We were so close when he was little. Now we're so far apart. Makes me sad.

I saw the Ramones years and years ago. OMG, they were sooooo loud and I wasn't even old then. Only show that was louder was Twisted Sister.
Carry on.

Thank you. I was 20 when I saw them at a little club in Brooklyn, NY. That was almost 40 years ago.

Me Tim
I'll help you. I was born the same year as that sweet split window vette. We will now return to our regularly scheduled program.

Somehow I remembered this really cool documentary "It Might Get Loud" from 2009 and the part where Jimmy Page teaches Jack White and The Edge how to play the chords for "Kashmir". This is the snippet from that movie. Highly recommend it if you haven't seen it and are a guitar fan.
Original tune of course... |

"If she was an ace | And I was just a jack | And the cards were never seen | We could have been the king and queen | But she took me back to her courtyard | Where magnolia perfume screams | Behind the gates and the granite | Of the planet of New Orleans"
Great when played on a high-end installation (also on a low-end installation, though). Dire Straits - "Planet Of New Orleans" (1991): (alternative link if video is blocked in your region: here)
