Yep got mine to work. I enabled the function in idrive but not sure how you do this if you don't have idrive. I set it to "slower" The sensitivity is perfect now. This is in the spreadsheet.

Here is something you could try if you don't have idrive: Wert_01 should be "slower" which means it won't be so sensitive.

Control unit: RLS

FLC_SCHWELLWERT_SATZ
wert_01]
wert_04] = sensitive

wert_02 = normal
wert_03 = very sensitive

Here is the entire settings if you want to play around with it;

[Light sensor sensitivity settings menu in the iDrive]

Control unit: Cappl

RAIN_LIGHT_SENSOR
nicht_aktiv -> active
C750A_SCHWELLWERT_EMPFIN
par_gesperrt -> par_frei
C750A_SCHWELLWERT_NORMAL
par_gesperrt -> par_frei
C750A_SCHWELLWERT_SEHR_E
par_gesperrt -> par_frei

and vehicle application by:

FLCN + = normal threshold
+ FLCS = threshold very sensitive

[Light sensor sensitivity setting]

Control unit: RLS

FLC_SCHWELLWERT_SATZ
wert_01]
wert_04] = sensitive

wert_02 = normal
wert_03 = very sensitive

Sadly, no. Looking for a few more E90s to get data from to see if I can spot any recurrent pattern.

Interesting! I will need to poke around as on my 2011 its a bit too sensitive for my taste and was at wert_01 by default. Maybe the values have changed...

I have the sensitive-normal-slow in my iDrive. IMO doesn't make much difference

I'll check your thread, thx!
You might need to compare this with a sports package car without shift paddles and see the difference.

yup i know, that's what i'm trying to do. rubdom's is a E90 335i with ZSP, so it was a perfect candidate to compare to, but for the life of me i can't find any DEFINING differences.

maybe i should post my VO / FSW and have someone look at them to see if they can see any difference.

Sorry I meant one with sports package and paddles and another with sport package and no paddles and see if the codes are different.

See if $2xa is used on a sports package car that has no paddles. That can tell us if that code means anything.

Whats the speed limit on an e90 with no sports package (328xi)

I just noticed something in my JBBF module.

RUECKSCHALTUNG_AKT_KMH
210kmh

I wonder if that is the speed limiter.

there is no way it's that simple.

[edit] that translates to "downshift".

You really only need one line to tell you not to exceed this speed. :-)

I tried to code it so they automatically come on when I lock the car but I only see it in the main file not the sub-modules. I don't really want to mess with the "code car" function. Here is the option if someone wants to try it:

home lights on after locking car with remote

So I just went through spera's VO. Looks like the only differences with mine and rubdom's are:

- some navi-related stuff
- some electronic stuff (USB, type of mobile phone prep, whatever)
- $226, "SPORTY SUSPENSION" vs rubdom's $704, "SPORT SUSPENSION"
- $481, "SPORT SEATS" - both of them have it, i guess i will add it to mine, especially since i have retrofitted sport seats

hrm.

Don't know what this is but I found it in my EGS module:
It references Paddles there so you may want to look into that.
