Downpipe question
I'm getting a cattless dp installed in a few days and I don't have a tune yet on my car. My question is will this mess up my car if it's not tuned? I am eventually tuning it when I get the $. But Prob won't be for a month at least. So will my car be safe to drive? I know it's going to throw a code. I just want to make sure my car won't get destroyed. Thanks

Car won't get destroyed from not being tuned but you will have a pesky check engine light and you won't get any power increase or anything from them until you tune. I would suggest holding off the install until you get the tune so you can take full advantage of the pipes.

A friend of mine has had catless downpipes on his untuned 335 for around 2 years with no issues besides a CEL. Although, your true power gains from downpipes are shown when there's a tune.

LOL @ not bothering to get this checked out until a few days before install when you know that a tune is at least a month away.
