Bad Idle @ start up....
Car runs poorly during start up. I have AA Processor but i have taken it out and car still runs poorly at start up for about 5-8 seconds and then everything is fine. I have gotten two limp mode indications twice in the past two weeks. Spark plugs were changed at 11000 miles, car now has 14000 miles.
Some people have suggested that it could be my VANOS, spark plugs, coil packs, or HPFP. Speaking of VANOS, how would that cause a rough idle right after start up? Normal driving or even spirted driving the car is running fine. This situation only occurs immediately after you start the car and the engine already hot from a previous drive. I have an appointment this week to get it looked at. Any suggestions from you all on this matter would b greatly appreciated. |

It's probably your fuel pump. There have been some members complaining about a rough idle and/or delay in throttle response over the past few weeks. It ended up being the FP. When you go into the dealer make sure you take off all of your mods or they probably won't replace your pump. Same deal happened to Boost_Nation.

if you are planning on taking it in for warranty work... have the post delete your thread so there are no service advisors that will pick up on it and shut you down... just my 0.02
