Tint windshield from outside to prevent chips? - And....
I know that there are clear bras for painted areas of your car, but is there a remedy (i.e. windshield bra?) in existence to prevent chips on your so-easily-chipped windshield?
Also, 1 yr coming up with girlfriend. Ideas, please?- ladies and gents. |

advice on 1 yr anniv w/ girlfriend...
don't go too over your head...remember, if you really like her, that means plenty of years to come...so don't do something that you can't top or be prepared to the following year. she'll appreciate it more.

Just be careful of chips. If you get one and it's small get it fixed right away before it spreads. I doubt a clear bra would help because that would greatly degrade your night vision. |

These windshields are just too soft, already have a small chip on mine (not that noticeable) and have had the car for exactly one month.
Re: the anniversary, definitely don't go overboard, like my fool co-worker that bought his girl an LV purse for $1500.... -- if she wants to be with you it shouldn't be because of the loot.

I don't know what they're called, but some race cars use peel-off sheets that they can just rip off in the pitts - maybe you could try something like that and let us know how it works out? I always wondered if it would be a problem at night...
Oh, almost forgot... and as for the GF - maybe you could get her an exhaust system for your car - a nice deep and rumbly one that she could really feel. Or maybe a nice tune (SSTT's not too bad $-wise), M steering wheel, short shifter, window tints, CF roundels, and on and on... - there are plenty of things you could get her for your anniversary. I can't imagine her having a nicer feeling knowing how happy you are... |

I like the way you think. That's a good 1 year anniversary gift right there! Then you just have to get her something.
