Driver rear door stuck
How do I get the door open. My door lock actuator decided to get stuck in the lock position so I'm unable to get the door open so I can't even get inside of it to open the door. Need some help

I had the same issue. You have to remove the door panel while the door is closed. There is a small hole in the door where the lock actuator is. In that hole there is a gear, turn that with a pick or screwdriver to unlock the door. If you do not have an actuator to replace it with right away disconnect the electrical plug and use it like a manual door.

To take the door panel off, you start by prying off the trim piece. Then you pry off the door handle cover. Remove a few screws (I don't remember how many). Now pop off the door panel watching for the door lock tab and wiring. On the back of the door near the lock actuator, is where the hole is.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Actuator stuck and the double pull wouldn't release it. Moving the rod for the lock did nothing, it was stuck down Stuck a pick through the hole to move a plastic piece inside which allowed me to use the double pull. We're lucky that we can remove the door panel with the door closed, otherwise it would be a lot more difficult. |

I took out the lock actuator and took it apart partially. I found that the white gear that you can see from the hole was broken. There is a stop notch formed into the gear that broke off. One day I may try to fix the gear.
