WeatherTech FloorLiners - Anyone Try them
Hey Guys,
I just bought a 328i coupe and i was wondering if anyone has the weathertech liners? How does it look and does it work well in the winter as a mat? Thanks. http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp...ptChoiceIds=10 |

Haven't tried that in a car but my company have been using a similar set in a Ford F250 4X4 pick-up for the past two winters. They work really well in terms of protecting the carpet except that the tall tips are a bit stiff and do not follow the concour of the floor very well. May be they have improved that since.
BTW they have a Canadian site www.weathertechcanada.com.

Some people on other forums with other cars are saying that the liners eventually warp. I'm debating if i should get the liners or the mats itself. For the winter i usually coat the bottom with plastic wrap.

I bought a set of regular weathertech mats for my wifes Sienna last year. Not the liners so, sorry this is a bit OT.
I was expecting some thicker rubber and better fitting. Complete disappointment for the amount of money |

Yes, ours wrapped badly on the door sides but that was becasue those edges slope down in the pick-up truck and got caught by the doors too many times. The other edges wrap a bit too becauce, as mentioned before, they are a bit too stiff and do not follow the concour of the floor that well.

I have problems with mine I bought 5 years ago... The driver side one actually worn off badly as there are cracks on every single rail of the water trap area.... I thought there's a life time warranty, but they said mine has only 2 years warranty as they were build by different manufacturer...
For me personally, I will not go back to weathertech... |
