Part # for power strip cover on e92 335i? Help!
One of the clips broke to the cover that is pictured below on my 2007 e92 335i. I'm pretty sure its a housing for some main power wires, but not sure. I IM'ed Jason at Tischer but he could not find it in his parts catalog. If anyone knows the official name or part # it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance =)

Well from what I have been told the N54's roots are as a diesel motor turned non-diesel. So it should have a very stout bottom end steel sleeves and forged pistons.

Try this - I searched for the bottom part and on the 335xi diagram the bottom part is the same and the top part has a part number 12527532269

I broke the same clip on the first day of owning the car. It's been a year since the day it happend and I never replaced it. Whatever that part is, it seems to be holding on pretty well with the other clips, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I had the same, just asked BMW to fix it during a maintenance job. No question were asked.

that's funny - I broke the clips on the back of the bottom portion of that cowl that you connect the battery bus bar to. I ordered a replacement part from Tischer.. word of advice, try not to step on pieces that you take off from the car when they are on the floor
Mine was part #2 on this list |

Got two of the three clips holding mine on too...It's been years, but I believe it was the piece on the cowl that broke. Part numbers for all would be appreciated for this common problem.
