Honestly, it doesn't matter what we think... don't listen to those haters out there who wanna bag on your car.. SG and CB is really nice. Aluminum is nice too... I would personally go for maybe dark burl with that color interior but aluminum looks nice too.
Do you have any pics? |

Your steering wheel is on the wrong side. That BMW is defective. May I suggest you go the lemon route.

this was the combo i was considering when i was going to order an e90.
i was originally thinking dark burl with the chestnut which i think would look good. but since the car has interior bits with aluminum finish...door handles, switch trim, etc. i now think your interior combo would look great. BTW, it really shouldn't matter too much how the interior matches with the exterior (and grey is pretty much neutral anyway)...when you're sitting inside you don't see the exterior of the car anyway. And if you tint, you won't really see the interior from outside either. IOW, if you like space grey exterior and chestnut interior---go for it and enjoy!

I drove a stick over in New Zealand for a few weeks a number of years ago. Shifting with your left hand isn't as strange as it may seem. Thankfully, the pedals are the same, otherwise, it would have gotten ugly.
The REALLY weird thing is that (at least in the car I was driving) the blinker and windshield wiper stalks are reversed. So every time I wanted to signal, I'd end up turning on the wipers. That got really old really fast. |

Space gray with chestnut will look great. I have e92 space gray with saddle brown and love it. I would consider a darker color for the trim like gray polar or dark wood. Anway...very good choice of colors...just go by what you like, not by what other might look...you'll be the one driving the car

In that case, I suggest going with the easier-to-clean leatherette interior. Also, might want to invest in all season mats.

I'm not a big fan of aluminum trim, but I think it looks fine. For myself, I'd prefer the black or dark gray wood trim, or piano black if that were available here.
