Ignition warning lights?
Hi,
Does anybody know what lights should stay on when ignition only is activated without starting the engine ? I thought it would just be the handbrake light but mine also has the engine management light in yellow, it does disappear once i start the engine. Nothing stated in the hand book either ? Is this normal ? Cheers |

I think it's usually check engine soon, hand brake (if on), oil pressure, and battery draining. If it all goes away when you start then that's completely normal.

Are you sure that it's not stated in the manual? And your just saying that you checked so you don't get flamed?

Yes, it is normal. It lights briefly to indicate the system check when you start the car. Airbag, brakes, seatbelt should do the same.
