Catless Downpipes affect exhaust noise?
Hey guys, I have a muffler delete on my e92 335i and it sounds pretty badass. I'm going to get catless downpipes soon and I was wondering will it make the sound much louder?
Or should I just get catted dp's |

I don't have a cat delete but I have cattless downpipes it's definitely louder than stock and it sounds mean at wot but I'm still planning on getting the bastuck exhaust cuz I don't think it'll be obnoxiously loud at all.

Catless DPs will make the exhaust sound deeper, and slightly louder. The effect is mostly on tone not overall loudness.

It does smell. For example, when you're waiting in a drive through the smell is very noticeable.

People always comlpain on these forums but I honestly hardly even notice the smell. The only time your going to smell it is when your getting something in the trunk and the cars running.. occasionally if you make an abrupt stop you might get a wiff.
The turbo somewhat diminishes the smell as well. Its nowhere near the level of my catless e46 M3. Oh and catless DP's will make your car considerably louder. If your running a muffler delete already I would even go so far as to say its going to be overwhelming. Your going to get a ton of drone as well.

In my opinion, my muffler delete made my car an ORGASMIC loud. So thats how I think lol |

I'm fully catless (downpips and 2nd's). I've always wanted to try this out but too scared. |
