Down pipe gaskets
Hi I am looking to get gaskets for my race land dps I bought them used from a member so it didn\'t come with them. Should I buy stock ones or any other ideas where I can pick some up? Thanks

Speaking from experience...just get the AR gaskets. I tried reusing the stock ones, and while one held, the other didn't. They're worth the $30 to save the headache.
And regarding the autozone comment; I went to two stores and none had specific gaskets for a 335i. I had them match one up, but the inside diameter was too small. Sure it would have worked, but what's the point? May be a regional thing, but we didn't have them here. |

If you have boost leaks you're looking for something before the intake manifold. Exhaust leaks will smell and sound like an old tractor in the cabin but shouldn't affect induction.

OP, I used these "cheap" parts about 5k miles ago on the DPs. The other day i removed my stock exhaust, bolts were perfect and reused the autozone gaskets with no issues. I think I still have the package with part # that i'm keeping the old stock gaskets in... I'll look for it. |
