BMS Powerbox
I'm looking at my options and I know the AA tune is the best around but I kinda like the features of the powerbox. What are some opinions on it? Good or bad? I'm not looking to go crazy with this ride.
Thanks in advance |

It says about performance tuning in it too but does it drive better? I had a 500 whp Dodge Caliber SRT-4 with big turbo setup so now I'm just looking for some NA power that fun to play with, nothing crazy.... |

I guess its how you look at it really, Ive heard nothing but great things about. But dont get it expecting to see HP gains. As far as in just get old fun it would be a blast. Makes the car seem a little light in my opinion. I dont have one but I have driven cars that have them and have noticed a difference. |

i have it in my 2009 328i. and it does make a huge difference. after i installed it and took it for a spin i noticed right away the power. it pulls more and u just feel the constant power. but then again it does only add around 10 hp. but the throttle remapping is pretty cool.

I had it. It makes your car drive like shit. Way too jumpy off the line (initially), and ultimately it's very unrefined. It'll downshift all the fuckin time, too. Get the AA tune, there is NOTHING better. It's better in every way and ACTUALLY has power gains.

not trying to be a smart ass... just trying to tell you that bms does not add hp, and I would love yo be proved wrong, because if it does actually add 10 hp like you say thats an awesome 300 bucks spent. all youre feeling is the lag reduced.... hence the throttle remap |

I do agree it does down shift a lot if you get too much on the gas but you get the option of setting it to 30% or 60% instead of 100%. This is better than trying to downshift by giving it gas and the car not wanting to, what was happening to me before, until I put the pedal to floor and ends up downshifting to WOT.
