Serious Question needs a Serius Answer?!
The question for anyone who has GOOD knowledge of the 335i/335d engine
The dealer serviced my car its first service the other day.. Can someone confirm whether the 335d takes 7 or 7.5 litres of oil to bring it up to the maximum on the dipstick When i returned home from the service (approx 15-16 miles) i checked the oil and it was below the minimum BMW sent out a technician who filled the engine with another 1.75 litres to bring it up to the maximum Do you think any damage or lasting wear could have resulted to my turbo's or engine due to the oil level being so low? i did drive up a steep gradient hill Any help would be most appreciated Carlos
