Procede V5 11-01 Aggressive maps now available
11-01 Aggressive map/firmware (and new v5.31 User Software) now available for download here: http://www.procedetuning.com/BMW/n54...downloads.html
Please note that these Aggressive maps are only compatible with Rev2.5 or Rev3. And please read the Read Me doc carefully as it contains important info. They are still officially beta (and no 7DCT maps available just quite yet). But they have been run extensively by a big pool of beta testers. On the track as well as the dragstrip. Good results across the board. But we may make some small changes/adjustments over the next few weeks as we get more feedback from everyone else. These maps run more boost in the midrange/low end. This means a lot more torque. So it's even more important that your car be mechanically sound. This means good plugs, good pumps, no leaks, etc,. And despite running less boost up top, they will pull considerably harder than the earlier Rev2 maps so expect to alter your driving style a little bit Lastly, as with all beta releases, please direct all questions/comments/concerns/datalogs to me directly at shiv@vishnutuning.com. Cheers, Shiv PS. If you want to update your Rev2 to a Rev2.5/3, we do offer exchange programs so you don't have to go tune-less for even 1 day. Please email sales@vishnutuning.com or call us at 925-415-9148. Last edited by OpenFlash; 11-03-2011 at 01:15 PM.. |

I mean, when some ppl said (ie) UT60, we automatically connect to 16.0psi... Yes, BUT is not correct. There are two lines of boost, one for 0% (=ut0), one for 100% (=ut100)... your "adjustable" UT is simply a rate between these lines and, casually, at 5500rpm (in about all maps i've seen up to now), it is the boost because 0% line is 10psi and 100% line is 20psi. If, for example, the highest line on 5500rpm at 100% is 18psi (and not 20), with UT60 the real boost should be 14,8psi I hope to be clear but i'm sorry, Eng is not my first language. |

Hi guys,
As the beta testers know, the Start Boost % is not scaled the same way as it was in the old maps. I just edited the Read Me to explain this a bit more clearly. Shiv |

I did a couple of pulls this morning with the new maps. I am very impressed with them. The virtual dyno app rated me at 412hp/421lbs. I obviously don't take the apps numbers for gospel, but the values are a nice bit higher than previously. I'm really impressed by the solid IC and AFR even when running higher boost. Also, I'm running straight 93 with no meth.

i'm still on the 7-29 autotuning maps. before i upload this new firmware/maps, i was wondering if i could get some specific feedback:
i love how the 7-29 maps feel, it's almost like an n/a car that pulls really hard in the upper rpm range, along with great torque down low. autotuned to 0% ic makes the car feel very rev-peppy, i love the throttle response! i heard a little feedback a few weeks ago, that these new aggressive maps feel less rev-happy, but have more torque. can anyone compare the throttle response and upper-rpm performance please? |

+1 just try em out and go back to 7-29 if you don't like em. Honestly I ran 7-29 since getting these aggressive maps and I hands down prefer the aggressive maps. The throttle response feels better than 7-29 maps. Top end feels great too especially with meth because of ignition advance. The feeling you get when that torque hits is amazing. Win win in my book.
