I like to watch Sky Sports on the move - I can do this with a laptop and I know it can be done on the iPhone / iPad as there is an app you can download from Sky but can any of the other tablets be used to watch Sky mobile?

Flash is no longer going to developed for mobile devices

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-15648899

Loads of reasons not to have flash on a mobile device.

The official app is coming soon for Android.

I don't have Sky but I do use numerous tv streaming sites all of which require flash.

Like I said in a few years flash wont be an issue but the fact is most websites use some element of flash.
If its not a problem for people then great. It just is for me.

Steve. Does the tablet have an on screen keyboard, or must you use the additional clip on jobbie?

Del, Paul is correct, these can be bought seperatley and it operates with an onscreen keyboard quite well or in a combo pack with the dock.

The wife wants one now but says she wont use the keypad, i seem to be using the keypad most of the time but using the screen aswell, and it feels wholly natural to do so. Hoever if im on the couch with the mrs i detach the keybord and that gives me the best fit.

Genuinley very very impressed, its just very intuative to use like a hybrid tablet/laptop.

32GB is a better size once you put music and films on it, especially to keep the kids entertained.

With iTunes match coming soon you won't theoretically need to store every song on there, you can stream play and download them from the cloud.

I went for iPad in the end because of the wider choice of apps, especially kids apps, + it works v.well with my other apple devices.

Very nearly got the archos 101 g9 because of it's HDMI out, expandable storage, faster processor and hot swappable bluetooth module. But they delayed it, stuck in a slower processor and you can do airplay wirelessly with apple tv.

Indeed, I would not buy anything until that becomes available and can be tested.

The new Android OS (ICS 4.0) is really great and I love it on my Galaxy Nexus so can only image it would also be great on a tablet.

The Motorola Xoom is supposed to outperform the iPad as well as being significantly cheaper. Researching the "Sky Go" on Android it seems that Sky have been promising it for ages but it really might be available in a few weeks.

Cheers Steve. I'm going to have seriously consider one. I was looking at new lap top, but think this might be a good as well as my present desktop.

I can see why your advert could catch people out as it clearly shows a picture of the tablet with a keyboard.
