Any updates? I decided to go with GP Thunders for now but still very interested in switching to HIDs. Also, PWM_RL_BL_1_FKT_SL is only for the AE's with headlights on. Somebody is going to have to figure out the PWM for the AE's only and raise the voltage or you are still running at below 12v when the headlights are not on.

PWM_RL_BL_1_FKT_SL is for when the head lights on and off. My angel eyes read 13.7 volts regardless of the head lights.

Yes you are correct; however, once you modify that value in the NETTODAT file, that overrides everything else. In other words, If you set it to 13 volts by coding NETTODAT, it will always be 13 volts regardless if the lights are on or off.

Yes, I can code for you guys. But I can't promise anything, I've only verified this on my car....
I'd like to code both cars at the same time. Shoot me a PM and we can work it out.

For those concerned about quality/reliability issues with ddm, I've had a 55w kit (which is overkill) installed on my gsxr for over 3 years with no signs of discolouring, fading, heat issues, wire or connection related failure or bulb issues. A lot of the connections are open to the elements, and where I installed the ballast (inside the fairing) has just as little airflow as if you were to install it in the headlight housing, if not less. It works just as well today as it did the day I installed it.

So you havent had any problems? This seems almost too good to be true, lol. I guess I will be buying a kit.
Can I do the same thing with the fog lights? Just buy the DDM kit and code out the errors? Ive been looking and cant fine the codes for the fog lights. Any help RR? |

It's not so much the quality of the kit in this situation. It's how it's setup. You can get the best HID kit money can buy, but if you don't alter the PWM signal, it will be useless. |

I was in the other coding forum and discovered that PWM_RL_BL_1_FKT_BL is the setting for the AE when low beams are not on. I confirmed it by coding it to a low voltage and it dimmed the AE's with headlights off. However, the default voltage is set at 13V which is why you thought PWM_RL_BL_1_FKT_SL changes both. Hope that helps.

May not even be possible but has anyone considered coding them to shut off when the low beams are on? They look great during the day but probably draw some unwanted attention at night.
