FMIC?
Does anyone know of an aftermarket FMIC that doesn't require any cutting? Plug and Play for the E92 335I!!!!!!

You need to cut for ER's intercooler. It's about a 1 inch x 14 inch peice of plastic. I removed the bumper "fins" as well for a cleaner look (and also to fit the carbon fiber shroud for the IC).

Our intercooler is a direct bolt on. I believe A/R Design has them in stock. If not, we will have more in stock and ready to ship at the end of the month. Our intercooler is a direct bolt on with no cutting required. It's more then enough to support anything the stock twins can throw at it. It's also priced very reasonable and comes with an upgraded lower charge pipe and removes the restrictive factory pipe that bottle necks down to 2.0" we have also seen a couple posts recently where the factory connections have been leaking, we use a tube style connection that won't leak under boost. We have tested this setup to over 55psi on our race cars
Thanks! Michael |

I have the 7" ETS FMIC and its amazing. You have to trim a shit load but its worth it especially if planning on upgrading the turbos.
Excellent quality and craftsmanship.

I can't comment on ETS as I have no experience but Forge build quality is up there with the best. The fitment of their kits are spot on, no modification required & I've used a few. As I understand it though, ETS are just as good and cheaper too .

Wow! 30 minutes? It took me about that long to get the factory plumbing from the charge pipe to the intercooler removed. I love my ETS 5" but unless you're an above average mechanic plan on a couple of hours if you don't have a lift.
