She is finally all done...335R
I have been a member on here for a few years, ever since the 335i came out, i knew that one day I will get one. I did extensive research on parts and knew exactly how I wanted the car to look. After 4 month of hard work, hours and hours of aligning, installing and removing and reinstalling again, all the body parts were on. Since N54 being one of the most amazing motors ever built, I could not leave it stock and added some bolt ons. CX racing intercooler with custom piping, JB4, Raceland DP, BSM Cone intakes, and secondary cats delete. I have to say that the wait was worth it. The car is truly amazing piece of engineering and with addition of tuners like Terry at Burger Motorsports(no affiliation) made this car even more amazing. I am going to install Meth kit shortly and get some dynos. The car was in a small front end accident and I used the opportunity to do M3 conversion. For those who are wondering, no I do not have ///M badges on it. Questions and comments are welcome, haters don't even post. Here are some photos and videos.
More pictures are coming... Last edited by 335R; 01-23-2012 at 10:40 PM.. |

Ive never been a big fan of carbon fiber hood/trunks.
With that said, the car looks great and i'm sure it runs very strong. It goes to show: You don't have to have to pay the BMW tax for parts to end up with a sweet ride. |

good job bro
i like your car i have one question and two suggestion's the question is the m3 fenders are wider than the 335i fenders did make it wider in front fenders and leave the back fenders as it is or these are m3 style for 335i fitment ?? and the suggestion is that since you have a carbon fibre hood and grilles you have to get a carbon fibre rear spoiler and the turn signal light in the front fenders just like that one in the link here http://i.ebayimg.com/t/2008-up-BMW-E92-E93-E90-M3-CARBON-FIBER-FENDER-GILLS-/00/$(KGrHqQOKnME4NSIY9HMBOHSryyI!w~~0_12.JPG |

Looks good, like the wheels and carbon. No offense, but when you say 335R, I was expecting a racecar, not a convertible.

haha, forgot to mention that I did install H&R sport springs. I may add the CF trunk lid later. I want more power now. Ran against pulled e55 tonight, he got me by 2 cars at 120. Not a bad start.

FBO+meth 335 will have trouble with a lightly modded e55. One of my really good friends had a heavy modded e55 and ran 11.1 at 125+mph. You need upgraded turbos and/or nitrous to come close to that.

Sweet ride dude. Also with the CF, always nice that's it's real and not a wrap. You're getting weight reduction out of it too which is great
Don't forget the M3 rear Nice job, more pics! |

If you mentioned it I must have missed it - from the photos of the interior (button in front of console) and the exterior your car is a convertible, the E93, like mine. True?
