[GTA] Lowering advice...

So I'm planning to get some coils but before that i just have some questions for GTA members who already have their cars lowered.

i drive down town toronto a lot and park underground parking lots like TD Tower/ Scotia bank theaters and such.

how have you guys coped with the ramps? im just scared i will scraping like crazy going down or up those ramps.

any input would be nice. thanks!

No issues for me... KW V1s on e90...

It of course depends on how low you drop it.. I have about a finger gap.

Well you want to consider how much you want to lower your car.. 1 finger.. no gap.. what size rims??? 19s vs 18s are a huge difference.. for me I have 19" rims and I have no gap.. a front lip... heck maybe even a little in.. but I don't have trouble when I go down there once in a while or the speed bumps around my condo.. but of course go really sloooooooooooow and at an angle if you can lol..

you should be fine for most of the underground parking lots, just go up includes on an angle and be slow/careful. There is usually so much traffic/pedestrians anyways, so its not like you can go fast anywhere. The poor quality of the roads is the biggest drawback of a performance suspension - ride quality goes to $hit

I have the same car as you, This was my first winter with the car, dropped in KW v1, run 16's for sometime and running 19's now. 1 finger gap. No issues at all.

I did Eibach Pro Kit and still had about 1.5 - 2 finger gap on 18s. Only trouble I would get is over the really tall but narrow speed bumps (usually in crappy strip malls). I think generally you'd be fine with most modern facilities.

I had to raise mine back up a bit the day after I lowered it (one of the reasons I got KW is this flexibility). About a finger gap now - a little more at the rear to accomidate exactly what you're talking about. The ramp to my underground condo parking is steep and a was scraping with the perfect set up. I actually scrape under the middle of the car due to the sharp transition. My car still looks great but would like the rear a little lower - I'll do this once I move.

if the drive way has room, go in at 45 degrees. if the drive way is only a single lane, drive slowly and pray...

+1. Been driving on slammed vehicles in Downtown for 7 years now. You just have to take everything slow and dodge potholes as much as possible.

I am dropped pretty low and I don't have trouble with the front but with the sideskirts lol. My jackpad adapters are all scraped from going over speedbumps and underground even at an angle slowly.
