335i Really Is The Best All-Around Car On Earth
Car & Driver said it right. I cannot possibly fathom a vehicle such as the 335i coupe for such a price that is even nearly as good. I'm quite anal about my decisions, so I don't want to just promote BMW. When I bought my 325i I was on the verge of buying the G35 coupe at the time, but the asthetics and feel of the BMW just instantly sucked me in. This time around I went through all the Deutschmobiles and BMW still came out on top.
The first few days I've had the car I just floored it everywhere; it's fast. Great handling, plenty of luxuries, lovely design, and good on the pocketbook. Tonight I took it easy. It's 70-something degrees now in the middle of the night and it's great time to just go cruising with the windows down; and I did just that. I think I found this car more fun to cruise in that speeding around the streets. Not to mention the great fuel economy! [/rant] :rocks:

I do agree that the 335i is unmatched pound for pound with any other cars its price range. It has great combination of speed/styling/features.
I searched high and low for other cars when I had to wait 2 months to get my 335i, but came up empty. I shortly considered an IS350, but I wanted manual. |

The first thing I noticed about my car was that it had amazing acceleration (fastest car I've owned) along with ridiculous fuel economy. When I read that article about how the N54 fuel injection was designed by Siemens and how many billions were spent on research, I understood there is sick technology in the direct injection (and yes fuel pump problems too).

hell even the manual says to break it in for 1200 like an m car....people stop flooring your beast and driving them like nuts right out of the lot!!!! ALL 335'S REQUIRE A BREAK-IN AND I RECOMMEND A 1200 MILE OIL CHANGE

I would take a guess and say many lease their vehicles. Therefore it doesn't matter to many since they will not feel the later repercussions.
