When people in wheelchairs on sidewalks are going faster than cars on the streets, you will know you are in a city called Toronto.

Garage List
This will never pass so I would t worry about it. The amount of drivers on the road is in the billions and if they expect drivers to slow down that much you might as well shoot me. It's absolutely absurd to think someone can drive at 30/km on a residential road.

Cyclist/pedestrians are in most cases not paying attention and they end up in front of vehicles that are abiding the traffic laws. I feel sorry for the drivers who hit these people because most develop psychological diagnoses when they're conscious is crushed because they accidentally killed an idiot pedestrian/cyclist.

Cruel world we live in. Funny thing is I saw another story and heard on the radio cities proposing an increase of up to 20-30km/hr on highways. Hmmmmm

I heard that too but it didn't get passed. Then a week later that's when another person decided to make a law to slow down speed by 10 km.

I think the main problem is driver education. Reducing speed limit will not decrease the amount of accidents.
