My Ride and plenty of photos
I have been here for a while now, but never got time to put some photos up here. Finally wrote few sentences to bore you guys. Here I go;
My journey of BMW begun when I started getting bored of Audi and Toyota cars which I owned. I was looking to buy something different and thought to try BMW 3 series. I wanted to buy something for short journeys so petrol car was ideal this time. Now out of petrol which car should I opt for? I always fancied coupe but as a family man, I could not go for it. I never liked estates (though Mr SINGH changed my view), so I was left with the option of Saloon. I always loved Saloons and it was good chance to move from Diesel saloon to petrol saloon. So I started hunting cars on AT and fleabay. I must admit that I did not do my home work properly as I did not even know the difference between SE and M sports. In addition to that I did not know that 320i was unpopular here and general consensus was to stay away from it. I short listed black 320i, test drove it, and bought it. First impression was good. In first 5 minutes I discovered that you have to work hard (higher RPMS) to get best out of it. After buying, I discovered this forum and started reading stuff on here. Plenty of information on here and brilliant people to help when needed. After buying my car I had done followings immediately on my car to keep it in fit condition. Oil service + filter Coolant flush Brake oil service CCV and all hoses Rear brake pads and discs. I started changing bits and bobs on my car starting from LCI headlight + GP thunder H7 and interior trim panels. (see my signature for further information). In terms of equipment, it came with most of standard equipment. My car had MV3s on when I bought it. Then I found Alufelgen Reps on this forum and snatched them. They completely transformed my car. I sold MV3s within 24 hours of posting them online. Then I had unfortunate incident (beyond the scope of writing here) and looking at positive side of it, it encouraged me to go for complete LCI conversion. So I sourced and found complete LCI M sports plus body kit on PH. Also found front and rear end. So bought all of it, and took it to body shop. They took about 2 weeks and I must admit that it was worth of waiting and they done a brilliant job. One of my CSL wheel was damaged and I did not want to repair and risk it, so I had to buy new set of MV3s. So my hunt started again and bought MV3s in 3-5 days. Now at the moment my car has gone back to OEM stuff. My next task is to retrofit M sports suspension. I have ordered it today and it should be with me soon and I will be back to garage to get those sorted. Before you guys jump on to pictures, I would like to thank EVERYBODY on this forum, who participated positively and to name few M1JBR Lemans 330D Raf555 Mart1000 Parapaul Steve F1 Dzikseq Theivz Acerboo Brain MC21 Business Edition Tomekt1981 HotCoupe Creepycoupe 1SH MR Singh And all of you who read this. About future mods, none at the moment (except exhaust box and many others .... Pics now: Floor is yours gents. Battle of comments starts now!

Looks sweet bud, will only get better from there.
Just out of interest. Your pictures seem to make the paintwork look flat and dull. I can see that there are some pretty clear reflections but is it just the way it's been photographed or is it in need of a good machine polish?

Clean!!!
Whats involved with the front LCI conversion, bonnet, bumper and front frame? What did the parts total cost? Also with the rear lights, I assume it wasn't a plug and play affair which meant some coding was needed? |

I have recently spent £350 on detailing her. She shines brilliantly. I guess its photos which are letting her down. You mean Alufelgens? Quote:
Cheers mate. Thanks bud. Nice to see Essex buddy here. Quote:
First three photos are taken by icrappy thing. Rest of them are taken by Canon 550D and I thought it was a good camera. If I'm wrong, please suggest a good one Quote:
Leemans is King No comparison to his car, as that one is fully loaded. Quote:
Thanks Mr. Singh. For Front, only bonnet and bumper. Pre-LCI frame should do the job. For Rear, rewiring of inner parts of lights and coding depending on your FRM modules. Cheers.

Thanks Brian. Loving your E91 too. If you find another exhaust box at that price, please let me know.

At the moment I am enjoying OEM version. If I get bored, I may go to American route of modifying it Thanks Banzi. My first trial of parking shots. If I learn DSLR properly, I am sure I can do better than this. Thanks bud. You are inspiration for us. Cheers mate. It looks new, except when you sit in and realize it is same old cabin.

From the last attempt on my car...just couldn't work out how best to deal with reflection from the sun and compose the image to help guide the eyes to the car Where as I find other things are just much easier to compose... |

Those plate holders are made in Germany and somebody get them here in UK and sell them. If you search item: 360302358381 on fleabay, you will find it. All the best.
