I recommend flashing over to the Drive map and see how the logs look. Give it time to adapt after flashing before logging, ofcoarse.
Just did a datalog on STG 1 drive v401 CA91. Looking better, was wondering if maybe you experts can take a look. Thanks!

When ever I reach maximum boost, or anything higher than 15psi I get a P30FF code. >

There is a Valero gas station that sells e85, so you're saying its safe to pump e85 mixed with 91 octane using cobb tune?

Yes, in moderation. You just need a gallon or two mixed with a full tank.

Looks good. You had a correction when the boost was ramping up but that's not bad.

Have had my AP for about a year now and loving it. Did my first logging today. Can someone have a look at mine as well? Anything glaring I should know about? I'm using Stg1 Aggressive IJEOS v301 running 94 octane on a pretty much bone stock car. Drop in filter and BMW Performance exhaust is about it.

Thanks

You are having some timing corrections going on. Try giving the sport map a try for a couple days and do another log.

A 20% blend is safe for our tune (since COBB doesn't calibrate for E85 usage like the plug-in tunes). A 20% blend is 3 gallons of E85 to one full tank. What I'd recommend is adding the E85 1st at whatever gas station you're going to fill up the rest of the tank at. Wouldn't be too good riding around on a high concentration of E85 until you can fill the tank.

I personally have a 5 gallon gas tank & try to keep 3 gallons of E85 on stand by, that way I can add it right at a gas station before I fill up on 93.

But wouldnt that throw a code no matter how much PSI is in the system?

Different maps (v2.03, v3.01, v4.01)

I decided to try different maps v2.03, v3.01, and v4.01 Stage 1 aggressive maps (standard throttle).
After switching between the maps a few times, I felt v2.03 to be the more powerful one, maybe Cobb can share dynos for those. Furthermore, I observed slight carbon build up in the exhaust tips with v4.01 map.
I have also read similar comments between v2.03 and v3.01 on which one felt more powerful, at this point I will stick to v2.03 not just because it feels more powerful but I have not observed the carbon build up.

What we colloquially call a "boost leak" code actually is a turbocharger under pressure code. The DME will request a certain load, then the DME will set a requested boost in order to meet that requested load and it's then up to the WGs to make that happen. If the DME cannot achieve to requested boost(or if it does not achieve it quick enough) then it will trigger a 30FF under boost code. The more boost that is requested the more likely you are to trigger the code if there is a small leak. It is a lot easier to meet an 8psi request than a 16pdi request.

The most likely cause for this is a leak(s) in the cold piping. Another thing to check is to the vacuum hoses connecting the vacuum solenoids to the actuators for cracks or other defects.

I see. Thanks for that.

It appears that I am experiencing the same on my exhaust tips. Didn't really notice it till the other day, +7 days on the map S1 Sport v401. What could be the cause? Should I be concerned?

Slight carbon buildup on the exhaust tips? Unburnt fuel comes out and will cause tips to get darker. It's nothing to worry about.

Right, wouldn't say build up per say, but yes darker. Unburnt fuel sounds to be more like it.

more or less, it was about an observation. Just appeared to have blacker tail pipes after flashing the COBB. and just wanted to see if that's normal

cheers...

1st Attempt , Log Stage 1 Aggressive, V4.01

1st Attempt to Log Stage 1 Aggressive, V4.01 - AT 2 and 3 gear. Maybe someone with more knowledge can take a look.

Looks like some minor timing pulls, but nothing major. 93 Chevron fill up.
Load targets looked a bit odd. I forgot to log throttle...thanks for any help. (csv attached as a .txt, i guess that’s the only way to upload)

Would be nice to try to dial in a bit more HP and a little less torque. I have been playing with ATR but havent downloaded any maps to the car.

Could you do a log with all the logging channels reset to default?

Currently running stg 1 sport, does the stg 1 aggr offer any additional low end torque below 2k? Or are all tunes pretty much the same before 2k?
