Oh i didn't mean you should get a W6! Just offering some different advice including making a custom corner enclosure. W7 is a great quality sub no question and obviously people want different things from their music.
Im not really sure what im getting at the moment. Im looking at maybe a 12w6 and a morel sc12, which are pure SQ subs but im also looking at some SQL ones, like Soundsplinter. Its going to take me ages to decide though and need to look at a lot more All i know is that i want a 12" in a corner loaded enclosure. |

Funny enough, I want 10W7 in the corner. But its depth is 8" which would be a problem. Also never played with fiberglass stuff, so can't make my own box.

I've never played with fibreglass either but it sounds like fun! The process is pretty simple though.
If you can get the optimum volume of a 10w7 in that corner then you should be ok. I think you should be able to get 1-1.5cu ft. |

At the top of that making this fiberglass project does not help. So I will end up with sub box. Once you have done one for yourself, I will simply nick that one

Haha nick my one.
I think if you do try 1.25 in the corner it might stick out a bit. Only know for sure once someone measures it. But i think 1 cu ft should be fine. |

Yeah the W7 needs more than 1cu ft, and would be a shame if it wasn't in its optimum. Better to build the right enclosure, maybe one of those zen enclosures:

I believe your rear diffuser has been painted body colour. Do you have a close-up pic pls?

Thanks for the pic. Nice job!
I'm actually thinking about this one: http://www.salesafter.eu/product_inf...e--primed.html as it's over £70 cheaper than SSDD. In fact I think SSDD look overpriced. Even the genuine BMW diffuser is only £263! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Perfor...ht_1836wt_1141

they are cheaper dude as the center's not in CF! they come plain black all over people pay extra for CF on trims (the CF part for that diffuser alone if you bought it separately is £100+ if you can find it) so a complete price of £270 is about right post some pics of yours when you get it!

Oh is it real CF? I assumed it was a CF 'effect' laminate...
