Roadster wheels have arrived
My Schmedien Indivis finally touched down in London after a long trek from Tokyo. Boy they are gorgeous! Hyper silver face, white on the inside, sub 20lb per wheel.
19X8.5 ET 35 19x9.5 ET 22 They are so light! Going from the stock 18"s to the CSL was an improvement; to these ...... wow! The car reacts positively with every little movement of the steering wheel and throttle, it feels like riding a grasshopper. Together with the Brembos, I've managed to shave 10lb per corner from stock. Plenty of clearance for my Brembos too, no spacers required. |

The E92 is more than comfortable enough for me, even with H&R lowering springs and 19"s. On stock SE suspension and 17"s, I find the car uneasily boat-like, and steering feedback left much to be desired. However, in terms of performance, the Goodyear F1s are leaps and bounds better than crappy Bridgestone RFTs that came with the car. The weight saving alone is enough to give a significant difference, plus I am running much wider tyres that grip a lot better. I have different priorities with my cars and probably not the best person to give an accurate account of motoring comfort. Quote:
