Long Starts
I've been experiencing long starts and rough idle. Dealership replaced HPFP under warranty, but the problems still exist. Any ideas?

I have all fresh fuel pumps, coils, plugs, injectors. My car sometimes kicks instantly. Other times 1-3 seconds. In my experience I would say 3 seconds is the Max though and it kicks over on the 3rd second. Anything more then that I would be concerned. What kind of fuel are you running? 93? |

Long crank times on cold engines, coupled with rough running= injectors.

It does smell like it's running rich on startup!

I had the same thing happen a few months after I bought my car and the dealer ended up replacing a bank of injectors to fix the problem. It will get worse the longer you let it go and eventually they injectors will run wide open and the car will run like shit until it warms up and can burn off the fuel. So, I would get it into the dealership as soon as possible if you have coverage.
