Check out the new schedule from Port Hueneme. It looks like we are officially on the books for a Sunday docking (Thank you NorthCar).

Two pieces of good news

1. There are some people on the Centuarus Leader who have already cleared the VPC and might have their cars before this weekend. Keep in mind that they docked on Sunday

2. The Maersk Tide is not registering on the WWL site. This tends to happen when they are changing the status. Hopefully it means that it has departed Hueneme.

I just spoke to a sale associate and found that my car has already been unloaded from the Maersk. It has not been released to a shipping company yet. Once they release, the shipping company has 3 days to get to my dealer (San Luis Obispo). He said I have a 60% chance of getting this Saturday. I'll take those numbers.

I just talked to my sales associate today and he said my car just got to the port today (22nd ) and that it should be on a truck and on its way to the bay tomorrow. And then I will have my car in my hands by Friday afternoon. He better be correct... hehe

Great news!!! I spoke to my sales associate also and my car cleared the VPC today and has been turned over to the trucking company. Hopefully we'll have our cars this weekend. Good luck all!!

I'm planning on it. I bought the train tickets. Bags are packed. My car is supposed to be delivered today. It was released to a trucking company late on Wednesday. CA told me that it needs to get in by Saturday morning for me to pick it up this weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Eugh - two weeks. Why so long? Please tell me that's just time at Customs, then it only takes them 2 days of 24hr trucking to get it to "t'north" ?
