How much of a power increase is there from going. From cobb stage 1 aggressive to Cobbstage 1 fmic aggressive .

How much more boost does it run. Can't really find any info comparing it just stage 1

Do you have an upgraded FMIC? If not, you'll heatsoak very quickly using the +FMIC mapping, the load and timing targets are just too aggressive for the OE unit. Going from Stg1 to Stg1+ is siginificant, the +FMIC mapping is more aggressive than Stg2.

There will always be gains over a stock intercooler. It is not efficient even at stock boost levels.

+1

Stock intercooler with tuned boost is not a great idea. The stock FMIC is barely adequate at stock boost levels of 6-7 PSI.

This x1,000, I know the popular route for max whp gains seems to be downpipes after a tune, but if you keep the OE FMIC good luck holding STG2+ timing for anything longer than a single pull. One good pull through a couple gears and the OE intercooler will be useless, at that point the car is spent until it cools down. For an engine that runs so hot as is, i'm still a bit surprised at how poor the OE intercooler is. We can debate the merits of the stock airbox, whether the secondary cats do anything, etc etc...but the general crappiness of the OE intercooler is a concrete reality.

Buy one you wont regret it as it sets you up for future mods for more power.
